Best Halloween Look

looks i mean because i found two outfits which blow my mind, to understand during the last few days i wander through the pre halloween suits of SD searching for the best halloween look, and o found two wonderful medolls who take the theme halloween and do their really own thing with it.

 

ANNE.SOFIE created a spooky outfit full of elegance. reminds me of a classic vampire lady look (the vampire look befor the twilight film series destroyed everything), but with the smile on her medolls face we also have the funny character of halloween which shouldn't be forgotten. great job anne sofie !

 

KLADIAAA she is one of my best friends on SD and i was so impressed by this outfit. ii know its not really a halloween costume but its like blood trensformed into a dress. she wears it just without a lot if accessories and i think thats the key. a minimalist outfit which stands for the ghost of halloween (wow that was really deep wasn't it).

Teen Witch (get the look)

 this style is different because i don't even know if you could call it a style like vintage, indie, hipster and so on, it's just a name for all this grunge revival, messy, trash couture young (fashion interested) girls like to wear. the best example for a real teen witch is TAVI GEVINSON, when i was at her age i wish i had a friend like her (i would missed some horrible fashion mistakes i did) teelling me how boring casting bands are and how cool courtney love and twin peaks are.

here we have some more SD clothes you can use for your personal teen witch outfit, the most important thinks to get your outfit done are clothes how look innocent and prissy BUT make sure you have a little bit of a lolita in it too, use see-through fabrics and really short skirts those should be combined with some tights. black and pastel colors are good to use too and necklaces which have a touch of your past (that means they should look like if a cute little girl could also wear them) oh and be a bit creative with your make up. 

 

 

 

some inspiring pictures for my readers (i could post thousands of those pale elegant photos), the biggest insperation for this look i would recommend the films the virgin suicides and ghost world, generation X, the band hole, fashion houses like rodarte and meadham kirchhoff. its a playfull fashion  with sex in it not easy to style but so fucking marvellous.

after watching this impressive collection i hope you are as fascintated by all these clothes as i am and you may understand what i was trying to explain (still i'm not really good in this) and you will try to create an outfit in honor to tavi and all those other teen girls how try to not be afraid of being different and being sexy in an innocent way ...

halloween 8tracks mixtape

LE DECOR

without a ! because i can't understand all the ta-dah about LE i mean the idea is good but often the LE stuff is overprized and the clothes sometimes look as if you wear a piece of plastic. you may know now why i'm a bit late with my post about the new LE decor collection.  of course i couldn't resist buying some but i had to stop myself with the sentence i always tell myself when some new decor is released "you are a fahion dolli not a interior dolli!" i think that on SD whe have those who focus at interior desing and creating a fabulous suit like my dear friend ANNE.SOFIE and we have those who infest more into clothes like i do. i mean a well designed suit is also important for me but i focus (my money) on fashion. however here is what i bought:

i haven't found any RL versions, sorry but it seems like its a bit more difficult as it is with clothes. something i didn't bought (because its just to decadent for me) were the pair of sleeping bambies in a glas bowl but i know who does such "art work" outside of SD ... POLLY MORGAN. she is a british artist who uses dead animals (she doesn't kill them she uses animals who died naturally!) for her art. she creats some kind of a sculpture. and i think the sleeping bambies you could bought at the LE decor shop got inspired buy this work of morgan.

i really like this kind of morbid and surrealistic art, it has this beauty of nature but also its cruelty. it just makes me speechless looking at it but i would never buy something like this (maybe a picture of it) its to scary to have some dead animal in my flat and thats why i didn't bought the two "sleeping" deers.

Antidote R.I.P. ?

that was the question. the last antidote collection were released in january 2011, the months passed but without a new antidote shop. my hope that stardoll will ever release a fresh collection agian sank and so i thought i just contact the stardoll stuff writing a desperate e-mail.

i wrote it on sunday so i was pretty impressed as i found an answer in my inbox today ! here is what they said:

i know its just one sentence but it ment a lot to me (i'm so obsessed with this lable :D) so if you've asked yourself "do we ever get a new antidote shop?!" you have the answer now. i hope i could help someone posting this.

Maximal

is what skirts should be like this fall.  they are comfortable but classy you can easily combine them with the chunky sweater i wrote about last post. the perfect footwear are heels in the design of jeffrey campbell's LITA or slim shaped boots (for example chealsea boots), and as  you may already know you can find some really cool maxi skirts at SD too. i searched through my (not so small) wardrobe and found this 3 i can recommend to you:

its just a guess but i think the SD sheer skirt look pretty much like this one

and this one is originaly from urban outifitters

the above skirt let you creativity crash all its limits as its great to use for layerd outfits, the grey striped one is a must have piece if you're into the boho chic, its fabric could be jersey and reminds me of swedish street style hipster.  if you like this one you should try your luck and visit the starbazaar as it is no longer avilable in starplaza.

last but not least the newest maxi skirt you can find in the "SD mall" (speaking of mals seems like we're all little mall rats if it comes to SD), i recognized this skirt seems to be very popular around my dear SD friends i saw it playing an important role in some really cool outfits.

i think the best thing about the maxi skirt is that it's a really feminin piece of clothes at one hand but on the other its not showing too much skin and isn't that what girl really want ... during a cold cold winter.

Ch Ch Chunky Sweater

autum is finally here and even the last sun addictet have to deal with it (i am one of those) and if the cold seasons have one positiv thing its the fashion you can finally wear, knit thights, long jackets, trench coats and my all time favourite pieces overzised sweaters and xxl loop scarfs (best choice are the ones made by amrican apparel). i personally think that chunky sweaters will be a must have this season, and its a really easy peasy outfit all you need is knit tights, leather boots and if the sweater is a bit too short a pencil skirt.

and as i always like to reflect my real life style to my virtual alter ego i create this cuddly look i just needed to share with you.

Oktober Hot Buys

are fucking awsome i think, ok stardoll still doesn't stop using the color pink like they are designing for little 12 year old barbie fans, but this months hotbuys seem to be less pink but even more elegant and sexy. 

 

we have topshop unique (the pleather skirt and the collar dress !) which are theoretically already mine   and we have a cute (hate to use this word but it really fits) vivenne westwood bag, also this cool shirt with the betsy johnson print (hope the knot is also used in the version which will be released)

The (little) Wonder During Times Before Halloween

is how i can describe what just happend as i checke the suit shop. SD released a HALLOWEEN SHOP ! and in this little shop full of cheesy clichés like the spooky pumpkin or a spiderweb i found ... LOUISE BOURGEOIS Tribute. a few weeks ago i start searching for those items (because stupid past-me didn't realised how awsome the stuff was/is) but i could only find some pieces and the prices were huuuuge (started with 280 till 500) but some items i could'nt find at all. so you can understand it was a bit like a wonder as i found them now at the halloween shop.

but now to madame bourgeoise an unbelieveable strong woman with a sense for disfunction and dark deformed  bodys. i think its best if you when your interested (what you really should be this women was a special artist and a inspration for me ) go and search for some information i hide some helpful links as always.

those are the items i instantly plugged in my shopping bag and the even more impressive real life versions ...
